An impossible name to pronounce in the sprawling English language. But not as impossible as the meta-crisis our species is facing, so why complain? I am a designer / writer / director / human / facilitator interested in what makes us shift perspectives / worldviews / emotionally / futures. Driven by ideas and questions of impact rather than specialised technique, my work spans from humours satire to dense poetry, from immersive experiences to traditional printmaking. Themes of worry / care / critique / discovery trickles between documentation and films, nestling tight to my heart and history. 

Attempting to be understood, this website seek to serve as a platform to connect with you, dear viewer / guest? / friend? / collaborator? through a selection of things I have done.

MEMORIAL SERIES I

WHAT: Print, ink on paper
WHY: I love printing This series of artistic monotypes is a visual exploration in how to address the topic of plastic. Sparked from the beauty of a transparent and immortal sheeet calmly enjoying the swells of a still stream, these prints seek to transcend plastic from its stamp of polluting vein-clogger and praise the beauty and potential of the material. 

By using a plastic bag as printing plate each print gets its own characteristics and expression, leaving me, the artist, without much control over the final outcome. This process generated an ongoing pleasure of discovery, which was further explored in the cases of adding geometrical shapes into the composition. 

My hope is that the prints initially spark the interest of their viewer, and then lead them to ask the question on how they are made, and further down the line reflect on the grater topics they adress.
