An impossible name to pronounce in the sprawling English language. But not as impossible as the meta-crisis our species is facing, so why complain? I am a designer / writer / director / human / facilitator interested in what makes us shift perspectives / worldviews / emotionally / futures. Driven by ideas and questions of impact rather than specialised technique, my work spans from humours satire to dense poetry, from immersive experiences to traditional printmaking. Themes of worry / care / critique / discovery trickles between documentation and films, nestling tight to my heart and history.
Attempting to be understood, this website seek to serve as a platform to connect with you, dear viewer / guest? / friend? / collaborator? through a selection of things I have done.

I have had the great pleasure of working with Thyr on several occasions during our Sustainable Change Leadership training programme at Hyper Island. Thyr embodies a unique blend of openness, spontaneity, safeness and both artistic and mental creativity, paired with a keen sense for collaboration! He has been a passionate enabler and contributor to the projects we have co-created and has never hesitated to experiment with a variety of artistic expressions in our workshops.
Early on in the programme, Thyr reached out to me after I mentioned my work with compassion-focused methods in leadership and organizational contexts. It quickly became clear that we shared a mutual interest in human-centered approaches and in facilitating change processes by fostering engagement and participation through curiosity. My conversations with Thyr about how to create a better world have always left me with fresh perspectives and a strong sense of hope.

Thyr is a dream to work with. He is smart, driven, and quick to settle into new contexts and conceptualize a wide range of challenges.
I have followed Thyr through all parts of an innovative process. He excels at generating ideas and leading creative conversations towards constructive goals. He takes responsibility for all early, forward-leaning processes by independently evaluating and compiling information. Often, he drives initiatives forward himself, keeps track of deadlines, and takes responsibility for the various steps needed to reach the goal. Over the past few years I had a pleasure to be a tutor and graduation advisor of Thyr Bjornson during his studies at Design Academy Eindhoven, Man and Communication Department. Thyr always showed strong ability in conceptualisation of projects, thinking outside of the box and talent in taking calculated risks that made his projects and presentations truly unique and memorable. He is a natural presenter, who is able to communicate his stories in a clear and engaging manner that captivates his audience.
Thyr is also a very strong thinker and strategist, who is not afraid to tackle challenging tasks. During his graduation period, Thyr has shown outmost professionalism, ability to structure his process and multitask. In that time he has not only performed as a designer, but also took upon himself a producer role in managing multiple parties which helped in execution of his projects.
Although Thyr is only starting his professional path, he has a lot to offer in terms of creativity, natural talent, problem solving, professionalism and technological competence. He is a hard worker and a real team player, who can bring a lot of energy and value to any design team.
